Tracey began her dance career 31 years ago. She has been trained as a full curriculum dancer in the styles of clogging, jazz, lyrical, tap, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, pom, and tumbling. Although she has pursued a variety of dance avenues, clogging has forever been a true passion for Tracey and her favorite dance form. Tracey began her clogging career as a student with the Morgan County Cloggers and then clogged competitively for her mothers programs at various local studios. During her high school career, Tracey received a personal invitation from nationally recognized instructor, Jeff Driggs, to perform in the Florida Citrus Bowl with the Charlie Daniels Band. This was the first bowl game performance to feature cloggers! She also spent several years traveling and competing nationally with the Rise & Shine Cloggers out of Ellettsville, IN. This opportunity was her introduction to the Clogging Champions of America competition circuit and led to numerous exciting performance opportunities, including the chance to dance on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Tracey's resume proudly boasts several professional dance experiences including: 5 years as a National Dance Alliance Staff Member, 2 years as an Indiana High School Dance Team Association Panel Judge, 2 years as the head coach of the FCHS dance team and 2 years as the head coach of the WCHS competitive dance team., Tracey also spent 1 summer employed with Walt Disney World Entertainment Department in Orlando, FL. Tracey is grateful for the many amazing people and wonderful opportunities that her experiences with dance and clogging have brought into her life and she is ecstatic to be teaching in the Johnson County area. Tracey currently resides in Trafalgar, IN with her husband, Bruce, and her two beautiful step-daughters, Layla & Aubree.
